Excellent temperature characteristics
2:17 type samarium cobalt permanent magnet material has high Curie temperature (>800℃), high temperature stability (αBr≈-0.035%/℃) and high operating temperature (up to 550℃). Compared with neodymium magnets, it can work above 200℃ without adding heavy rare earth. When the operating temperature exceeds 180℃, the maximum magnetic energy product of Sm2Co17-33H material has exceeded that of N42EH. By doping with heavy rare earth elements, ultra-high stability permanent magnet materials (αBr≈0%/℃) can be obtained. It is currently widely used in key fields such as microwave communications, precision instruments, and high-temperature motors.
